New Items in My Store

With the change in the season and the improvement of my skills with my Knifty Knitter, I have put several new items in my store. I now have beanies, ear warmers, scarves and a motorcycle mask. I also have the cutest little girls hat complete with a flower on the side. I am in the process of looking for a model for my various types of shawls and shrugs. Another new item is my Kemo Kap, of which one alf of all proceeds will go to help fight cancer.
For all of my knitted items, I use the softest yarns I can find, mostly Angel Hair. I list each item seperately but offer a 10% discount on combined order so feel free to mix and match.

Life Illustrations

This isn't SilkFair or Etsy realated, I just want to promote my cousin a little. She has a new web site and has started her own business. She does beautiful work so please check it out. Here is and invitation from her:

Hello everyone:As many of you already know I have been trying to get my own freelance business going for a while now. I started it off just doing jobs on the side for the past three years and decided it's time to take it to the next level. So with that, Aaron decided to get on board with me and we are running our first ad that came out this weekend. But with the ad coming out we needed a face lift on the website. Andy helped us out a tremendous amount and gave us a new look we could have not dreamed of.So with that said, please take a look at the site and let us know what you think.http://www. lifeillustrations. net.
Thanks,
Karine

Meema Magic!

I love to make gift baskets, candle arrangements and all kind of little craft items. All of my baskets, candle arrangements and diaper cakes are one of a kind (OOAK), you will never find one exactly like it. If you don't see one here, please message me, I will gladly do custom orders.Although the baskets, or whatever I am using to make your arrangement in, might be gently used, ALL items inside are brand new. Some items have been removed from their packaging to enhance the look of the "basket" but nothing is ever used. I will give each gift the same individual love and attention that it would get if I were to give the gift myself.I also have a few vintage items that I have found along the way and I am always on the look out for new!You can also find me at:

I have found a new place for my gift baskets.

So, I have finally, hopefully, found a new store for my gift baskets. I was looking around on the Etsy forums and found a post about a place called SilkFair. This is an on line shopping mall, similar to Etsy, but they are not strictly "handmade". Don't get me wrong, I am all for handmade, it's just that some of us are not as talented as others but still have a great product we would like to market. I have been making gift baskets for decades now and I personally feel that it is an art. A lot of people think that it is just a matter of throwing a bunch of store bought items in a basket and sticking a price tag on it. While some may do that, I am not one of those people. I am one of the people that walks thru the store picking up things and arranging them in my cart. I get ideas in the middle of the night and they drive me crazy until I can put them together and actually see them. I have a few baskets in the making right now that I haven't found "the right look" for, so they are still on the work table. I believe that everyone is entittled to their opinion and this is mine. If you like gift baskets, please take a look. If you don't, look around anyway, you might find something you like.

Oregon Favs!

Since I just recently moved to Oregon, I wanted to do a tribute to fellow Oregon Etsians. If you see something you like, scroll to bottom of page and click on the item. By doing this, you will be taken directly to their shop. Happy Shopping!
